L'automne des crinières blanches
"L'automne des crinières blanches" (" Automn of the white manes") is an association whose aim is to provide well-being to the animal of the farm Bénesse-vieux, make sure they retire in their environment, allow them to leave this world with dignity, cooperate with schools, educational and leisure centers, help people understand animal behaviour.
Bénesse-vieux was founded over 30 years ago, and owns over 30 horses, ponies and donkeys at the farm.
Some of them have lived here since its beginning, others were born here or were brought here by their loving owners.
But time passes, and half of our inhabitants, after years of loyal service are now disabled, ill or too old to work and now depend on the rest of the family, which can no longer afford such expenses.
That's why a small group of volunteers decided to create an association in accordance with law of 1901 :
L'AUTOMNE DES CRINIERES BLANCHES
whose aim is to provide optimal life conditions, and a retirement in their home environment.
Supporting the association allows our animals to get the care they need at the end of their life.
For exemple, a month-worth of hay for a horse costs 30€,
a farrier intervention 40€,
a visit from the vet 50€, from the dentist 70€ ...
You can contribute in different ways :
